With a few days before Alexander moved to theaters, Salman Khan has already set a major fashion trend. The Zohra Zebin, characterized by Rashmika Mandanna, has become the required outfits for Eid 2025 for her black embroidered kurta-pajama, Eid 2025. Before the release of the film on March 30, the Bollywood superstar has flooded with shopkeepers eager to re -create the signature festival look.
Salman’s Eid influence on fashion markets
The demand for Salman’s popular kurta-pijama style in Sikander has been skyrocketed, especially in the fashion hub in Old Delhi. Faheem, owner of SM collection in Chitli Kabar, revealed that similar design is flying from shelves within days. Price has increased due to increase in popularity, now retail sales at ₹ 2,800 with outfits, which is almost doubled in the normal ₹ 1,000-1,500 range.

According to a PTI report, in Matia Mahal, another popular shopping district, shopkeeper Mohammad Salman shared that the embroidery cloth, widely known as “Pakistani embroidery”, is in high demand despite being produced in Surat, Gujarat. The cloth available in various colors and designs, being sold in 1,000–1,500.
Eid shopping crowd and sewing boom
As Eid, traditional kurta-pajam dominate markets, many Muslim men opted for them to wear during special prayers. Increasing demand has overwhelmed most tailors, many people have closed their order books before the festival. Naveed, a tailor from Zafarabad, said that his team would have to fulfill all orders two days before Eid so that they can also allow them to celebrate.

Meanwhile, Rais Ahmed, a tailor at Vijay Park in Mauzpur, is still taking the last-win order. To meet the growing demand, they have hired seven additional artisans, working for 16 hours each day. PTI states, “Kurta-pajama takes about three hours to stitch, and we are running against time.”
Readymade Market Soars
Spread to the border with tailoring services, readymade kurtas and pajamas are being sold rapidly. Altamash, a businessman operating both online and offline in Jafrabad, reports more than 120 online orders per day, selling 60–65 pieces directly from his store.
