Philadelphia Eagles are going to the White House at the White House on the invitation of President Donald Trump to celebrate their super bowl Lix over the heads of Canasus City last month.
A White House official told Fox News Digital, “We sent the invitation and they accepted enthusiastically. We are working with them to determine a date and logistics with them.”
A team spokesperson also confirmed Fox News Digital that “Philadelphia Eagles Organization has accepted an invitation to visit the White House and is currently working on schedule to schedule a date and logistics.”

There were questions about whether Eagles would accept an invitation after not doing so in 2018, but Trump told The Spectator at the end of last month that the team would visit around this time.
“They are coming here. Philadelphia is coming here,” Trump told the outlet.
Trump also announced to invite the team last month.
Eagles to invite the White House after winning Super Bowl likes, says Trump
“They will be (invited). We have not yet done, but we will be,” Trump said, who was in Caesar Superdome to see Eagles, defeated the heads 40โ22. “I thought it was a great performance by him. Absolutely, he would be given an invitation. We will do it immediately. We will do it for some time today. They are worth staying down here, and we hope to see them.”
Eagles captain Len Johnson said that the journey to the White House would be a “team’s decision” after winning the Super Bowl.
“I will be honored to go, even if he is the President, but we will see,” Johnson said through Sporty’s Eric Jackson. “This is eventually a team’s decision. I will do what is best for the team.”

Johnson, who spent all his 12 NFL season franchise, was in the team, when he won the first Vince Lombardi Trophy of the organization in 2018, defeating New England Patriots.
However, the dispute occurred when Trump canceled his invitation to Eagles as some players said they would not visit the White House, who raised their fists during the National Anthem to protest the racial informal and police cruelty.
Trump issued a statement about cancellation of his invitation at that time stating that “1,000 fans plan to participate in the event.”
Trump’s statement read seven years ago, “He disagreed with his President as he stood proudly standing for the national anthem, the heart on the heart, our military and the great men and women of our country,” read in Trump’s statement seven years ago.

Seven years later, the two parties are ready to celebrate a different win.
As mentioned by both sides, time and logistics must be worked as the next steps.
