The daughter of a German-American journalist, who was killed in Iran’s custody and whose bodies were scattered and missing body parts on Sunday urged the Trump administration to draw a plug on nuclear talks with the Islamic Republic.
Jamshid “Jimmy”, Sharmhad, 69, a California resident, who was abducted during a business trip in the United Arab Emirates in 2020 and was taken to Tehran, executed in October. His daughter, Gazel Sharhad, told Fox News Digital that his body was returned to the horrific signs of torture.

“I traveled to Berlin with my family, so that these terrorists could not hug my free father after five years of torture, but to get his chopped body in a box,” he said. “The regime not only tortured my father physically and mentally for more than 1,500 days because the US biden administration and Germany were watching stupidity, even after killing my father, he cut his organs.”
Gazel Sharhad said that a corpse examination report showed that his father’s tongue, viyantra, thyroid and heart were missing, and he had only two teeth.

The daughter, who advocated the Biden administration to free her father, said that the US and Germany should not interact with the competent nation for such atrocities.
He said, “The day a German-American patriot and hostage were returned into pieces in a casket, his tongue and heart were cut, my family and me, hardly recognizable for Germany and America,” he said.
The Trump administration on Saturday launched indirect talks with Iran’s clerical rule, which was taken after a kidnapping of Jimmy in Oman in Oman, a Middle East country and later moved to Iran.

Sharmhad, who was a sharp critic of governance in Tehran, was considered an American national under the Lewinson Act, according to family lawyer, Jason Poblet, who is experts of victims kidnapped by the totalitarian regime.
The Lewinson Act defines the “National of the United States” as a legal permanent resident “with significant relations to the United States”. According to the State Department, the definition applies to non-American citizens.
The act was named after Robert Lewinson, a retired FBI agent and private investigator who disappeared from an Iranian island in 2007. Lewinson was taken hostage and was declared dead in 2020 when he died in Iranian custody. His family convicted the Iranian rule for his possession and imprisonment.

Gazel Sharhad called FBI director Kash Patel and German officials to investigate the murder of their father and issue arrest warrants for the Iranian rule officials, who were responsible for their summary execution.

He was supported by the German-Irani community. A prominent German-Irani human rights activist Behruz Asdi sent a letter to the German federal prosecutor Jens Romell about the case of Jimmy.
Asadi wrote, “We urge you to initiate a criminal inquiry against those responsible in the Islamic Republic of Iran, especially those kidnapping, imprisonment, torture and eventually responsible for their assassination.”

Sharmhad said that he believes that the German Christian Democratic Party politician Frederick Merz, who is expected to become a Chancellor in May, and President Donald Trump would stand for terrorist rule, who were not in his predecessors.
“President Trump is newly elected, but has promised to stand with hostages and stand for jihadis, whether he is the greatest of Isas, Hizbullah, Hauthis or Islamic rule in Iran,” he said.
