Brazilian football player Dani Alves investigated for an alleged sexual attack in Barcelona last month, confirming the Catalonia Higher Court of Justice on Tuesday.
The court statement said that Barcelona has investigated the magistrate’s court number 15.
“The matter is in the investigative stage and we do not have much information at this time.”
A court spokesman confirmed CNN to worry about the allegations.
The CNN reached the current club of Mexico, the current club of Mexico for comment from the team and the player, but did not listen to immediately. Alves denies any wrongdoing, per raater.
Alves is one of the most decorated football players of his generation, who won domestic titles in Spain, Italy and France. He also won three Champions League titles with Barcelona.
Alves won the Copa America with Brazil in 2007 and 2019. At the age of 39, he became Brazil’s oldest player to feature in the World Cup while appearing for the national team in Qatar, when his team used to play Cameron.
