He has lost 180 pounds to a Maine’s father who used to think of taking his son to be taken at graduation – and says that his new diet saves him $ 2,000 per month on grocery accessories, as SWNS said.

The 48-year-old Justin Doodley touched the scales at 343 pounds and took a toll at his heaviest after years of carb-loading.

Self-possession “fast-food addict” says that he followed every meal with sweets-and he spent anywhere from $ 1,600 to $ 2,400 per month on ice cream, chips and candy.

In April 2024, Dadley decided that was enough. According to SWNS report, the only son of single dad, Ethan was ready to graduate in that spring.

The father working in information technology said, “I always hated taking my picture, and if I had to stay in a group of a group, I was always hanging in the background,” the father said, who works in information technology. “But I wanted to be proud of my son for his special day.”

Dudley made a strict meal plan that included extreme calorie count and intermittent fasting, which is a time -bound dining plan that, according to Johns Hopkins, is alternate between fasting and food in a regular program.

Since his son graduated, Dudley has lost 180 pounds.

Dudley diet included only tea and coffee drinking throughout the day, then having a big meal for dinner. Dinner itself was a strict 1,200 calories – the total amount he planned to eat every day.

According to the dietary guidelines for Americans, the recommended daily intake for an adult male is between 2,000 and 3,000 calories.

Dudley also included domestic workouts in his routine.

Canadian nephrologist Dr. Jason Fung is known as a specialist of fasting. Asked about this method of losing weight, he agreed that it had many benefits.

“The advantage of this program is that by eating the same thing at the same time, he is making his routine in a habit that makes it easy to stick, because what his body really expect and when,” told Fox News Digital.

Fung also said that intermittent fasting can help in curbing food addicts.

“After a set eating plan, it becomes easier to stay away from fast food, (Dadle’s) addiction after a set eating plan.” “Addictions should be treated with restraint, not with moderation.”

“Ethan told me how proud he was on me, but I still felt conscious of my weight,” he said. “While I was taking my picture, I still felt ashamed … I knew that I still had a lot of work.”

Since his son’s graduation, Dudley has lost even more weight, shed a total of 180 pounds.

Doodley’s new food plan has also saved them money. He spends approximately $ 300 monthly on food, compared to more than that amount than triple, according to SWNS.

He said, “I save thousands of people in a month who was spent on junk that was putting me in a starting grave,” he said.

Now, the father is ready to travel – something that he says that he could not do before – and is living a life that he is proud of.

Dudley’s own father’s death did not long before his own weight loss trip, which is part of motivating him to start.

According to SWNS, “Losing my father gives me a tough competition, and I did not want to lose Ethan ahead of time.”

“Before my father passed, he told me that I should not regret or postpone anything for tomorrow.”

For other people looking to implement such change, the Fungs gave some simple advice.

“My tip for fasting and fasting is that it is never easy or especially fun, so make it in a habit that you can follow, a big step towards maintaining the profit,” he said.
