Cowboy aggressive lineman Zack Martin has played his final down.
According to several reports, Martin is retiring from NFL after 11 sessions with Cowboy.
ESPN reported that he met Jerry Jones on Thursday to inform the GM and the owner of the decision.

Martin was limited to only 10 games this season and had surgery on his ankle to address the issue a few months ago.
The 34-year-old is one of the most decorated aggressive linemen in the history of Cowboy, nominated for Pro Bowl nine times as well as seven-time first-Tim All-Pro selection.
Martin is also believed to be involved in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Cowboy chose Martin in the first round of the 2014 NFL draft and started 162 games during his career.
Mike Macarthi, former Cowboy coach, praised Martin, when Martin decided to undergo an ankle surgery in December.
Macarthi said at the time, “Apparently a hall of famer, not only the way he plays, but only in the first class.” “He only commands a lot of respect. The same person, personality every day. Hard work. True team man. Puts the team first. He is a pleasure to work and I cannot say enough great things about him. ,

Retirement questions first began to pop up when Martin held an agreement to re -function his contract with Cowboy before Martin held Martin in 2023.
Martin expressed enthusiasm to hiring Brian Shotenheimer as Cowboy’s new head coach.
“Love Shotty. They have found very good relationships in that building, ”Martin told The Post earlier this month. “Excited to get an opportunity for him to become a head coach and lead our football team.”
