The first cases of Kovid -19 in Haiti have been confirmed. As health providers around the world began efforts to fight this deadly virus, we know that weak countries like Haiti will face the biggest risks.
Applying our emergency response plan in the hospital. To start, we are:
Reduce exposure
- Screening of all patients at the entrance of the hospital
- Limit the foot traffic in and around the hospital
- Cancellation of normal coming hours
- Postponing all alternative surgery and procedures
- Creation of tents for patient overflow
- Nymphocratic
Stocking essential ingredients
- Production of 200 gallon disinfectant daily to clean all surfaces
- Sewing masks
- Stocking on medicine
- Building oxygen store
- Rationing supply
Good hygiene facility
- Establishment of additional handwashing stations in major areas of the hospital
- Tippy tap installation in community
- Raise community education
In addition, we have been in touch with leaders of local healthcare institutions to share our action plan to respond to Kovid -19 and to limit the spread of virus in Artibonite.
The implementation of this scheme will pushed our employees and supply to the limit. If you have resources at the moment, we politely ask you to donate to help fight the Kovid -19 in Haiti.
We are grateful to this community that time and time again shows your compassion to help those people.
