Courteney Cox reveals unusual items found in her closet
Courteney Cox is being up and close with her fans about hilarious finds from her coat closet.
The actress, 61, gave a tour of her coat closet in an Instagram video posted on Wednesday.
“Living in California, we have very little need for a coat closet. This is what I have in my coat closet, and this is for real. I’ll start with … a Scream mask that — it’s like a popcorn holder,” Cox said at the start of the video.
“Now what are the chances that you actually are going to serve popcorn… or maybe it’s for Halloween? Well, actually, that is a really good idea.”
She then took out life-size cardboard cutouts of her face. ” What the hell? I have masks of myself. This would be my dog walker. She got masks of myself, and I still have them. Okay, weird.”
“Then I saw this. These are the only coats that have in my closet. This little rain gear. You know, this is for not a baby. Nope, that’s probably Lily’s, this is Bear’s,” she said, laughing, referring to her two Cavalier King Charles Spaniel dogs. “Just in case they go walking in the rain.”
Cox then noticed a bag she didn’t remember keeping. “A scary bag. I don’t know, but I’m embarrassed and nervous about it.”
Upon encountering another cardboard cutout, the Friends alum joked, “Look at this. It’s like I’m obsessed with myself, but I’m really not, I swear.”
She also found old candle-making tools from her early Homecourt days.
“Candle-making craft tool. That’s where Homecourt started, right there. We make our own candles. That’s what I do all day, and then I sell them to you,” she quipped, referring to her home and lifestyle brand.
She then came across unused sheets, a Friends keepsake book, and baskets — inside of baskets. “Wow, I have problems,” she laughed.
The SAG Award winner then stumbled upon a classic photo album. “That’s my mom when she was a baby. This is actually an important book. I’m glad I found it,” she said of a photo of her mother as a child.
Cox concluded the video, saying, “I know what I’m doing tonight, I’m cleaning out this closet. “
