South Africa’s Corbin Bosch has been given a legal notice by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on the alleged violation of contractual obligations to the board.
30 -year -old Bosh, 30, was selected by Peshawar Zalmi in the category of diamonds during the tenth edition of the HBL PSL Player Draft held in Lahore on 13 January.
The legal notice was served through his agent, and the player has been asked to justify his functions of his professional and constructive commitments.
The PCB management has also underlined the results of their departure from the league and expect their response within the stipulated time. The PCB will not comment on the case.
Earlier this month, reports came out that South African all -rounder Bosch left its contract to join Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League (IPL) with Peshawar Zalmi in the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
The bosch is ready to replace Lisa Williams injured in the Mumbai squad.
The Right-Arm Pacer, chosen as a player of the diamond-grade by Peshawar Zalmi during the PSL 2025 draft in January, was expected to play an important role for the franchise.
However, a conflict with the IPL shifting in April-May window with PSL-he is now considering the occasion of playing in the world’s most attractive T20 league.
The 30 -year -old man is yet to make his IPL debut, but was earlier associated with Rajasthan Royals as a reserved player.
His familiarity with the setup of Mumbai Indians comes from his successful tenure with Mi Cape Town in the SA20 League, where he played an important role in his title winning campaign, took 11 wickets in seven innings at an economy rate of 8.68.
Meanwhile, Peshawar Zalmi will now have to reassure his squad strategy as they prepare for PSL 10 without a bosch, who were expecting to increase both their batting and bowling departments.
The franchise can detect replacement options as they are ready for another competitive season.
