Some Democrats on Thursday protested against the reserved US Voter Eligibility (Save) Act on the House’s floor, out of which only four voted in support of the law.
The Save Act will require evidence of citizenship to register to vote, as to confirm that the voter is a Citizen of the United States on a form.
The list of eligible documents includes a passport, photo ID issued by a government, a birth certificate and other forms of identity. Only one of them will be needed. Opponents have argued that the bill will make more difficult for women who no longer use their first name to vote, while supporters say it is a myth.
Rape. Laura Freedman, D-Calif., Said it is a “modern day pole tax, which targets American women and low-income Americans.

During the floor debate, rape. Lauren Bobert, R-Kolo., Dismissed that argument.
Republican said, “Bless the hearts of my colleagues, on the other side of the corridor, using women as ‘Gotcha’ for voting.
“Since we are using women here as fodder, perhaps in the next round of debate they can explain to us what a woman is.”
Other Democrats said that it presented serious voter repression questions.
Despite the voter supporting elections, Dames fought the bill to stop illegal immigrant voting

“This bill can force the Georgians to pay more than $ 700 million to register to vote. Nikma Williams, D-GA said. “Voter repression by any other name is still voter oppression. This bill violates the 14th, 19th and 24th modifications and … is every tenant of an independent and inclusive democracy. I urge my colleagues to vote on this insult to the voter repression bill.”
Nevertheless, supporters believe that this will help in safer elections ahead of any nonsense voting in elections. But the opponents argue that this is an unnecessary step that is looking at the unusual nature of nonsuxity voting and the burden of additional paperwork.
Most of the American people support the requirement of photo ID to vote, says New Pole.
Rape. Chak Edwards, RNC, posted that it would be a “myth” that “the right to vote for married women” would be banned.
Edwards tweeted, “The Save Act stated that a process has been asked to establish a process, such as a name change, so that the individuals can still register to vote.” “This bill lists forms of identity that a voter can provide when registering to vote, but the voter requires only a document, including the driver’s license or ID card issued by any valid government.”

Those who are not American citizens, are not allowed to register already legally to vote, which essentially provides an additional protection to the law, according to it.
“It is already illegal to vote in federal elections for nonsuxity. It can affect about 150 million Americans,” rape. Sarah Jacobs, D-Calif., In a video on Thursday, it can be difficult for people to get a birth certificate or a proper identity like a passport to prove citizens. “So the Save Act is not solving a problem. It is making one.”

President Donald Trump supports the bill, and recently issued an executive order for similar election reforms. Bill made it through the House supporting it with Republican and some Democrats last year, but it did not make it through the Senate and this time could face similar obstacles.
All the Republican present for the vote supported the Act with Democratic Representatives Aid Case, Jerid Golden, Henry Kuler and Mary Glusencamp-Paras. The bill is led by two Republicans, Texas rape chip Roy and Utah Sen Mike Lee.
