Shocking revelations from inside the meta
Sarah Vyan-Delhi, former director of the Global Public Policy in Facebook (now Meta), has named one of the titles titled “Careless Peepal: A Caversary Tail of Power, Greed and Lost Idealism”. The memoir depicts a harmful picture of the leadership of the meta, especially focusing on the alleged efforts to achieve access to Zuckerberg’s Chinese market.
What is Artificial Intelligence (AI)?
A Meta spokesperson said, “All this has been pushed by an employee eight years ago for poor performance. We do not operate our services in China today.” “It is no secret that we were interested in doing so as part of Facebook’s effort to connect the world once. It was widely reported to start a decade ago. We finally opted not to go with the ideas that we discovered, which Mark Zuckerberg announced in 2019.”

Zuckerberg’s China Strategy unveiled
Zuckerberg’s China strategy, as detected by Sara Vyan-Viliums, was far more broad and controversial than already known. According to his account, Meta CEOs went to extraordinary lengths to convince the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) to allow Meta to work within China’s borders. Zuckerberg’s efforts included allegedly paying special attention to Artificial Intelligence and providing detailed briefing to CCP authorities on state -of -the -art technologies.
In addition, Meta directly collaborated with CCP to develop custom-made censorship equipment to suit the party’s specifications. Perhaps most dangerous, Vyan-Viliums claim that Zuckerberg tried to hide these cooperative efforts with the CCP from the US Congress, raising serious questions about transparency and potential legal implications.

Meta response and previous statements
Meta has denied claims, stating that they have not seen the book and the former employee was abolished in 2017. The company spokesperson referred to Zuckerberg’s 2019 speech at the University of Georgetown, where he claimed that despite his efforts, he could never make an agreement with China on the terms of the operation. We approached Meta to react to our article, but did not hear back before our time limit. Here is something he said:
“This is one of the reasons we do not operate Facebook, Instagram or our other services in China,” Zuckerberg said. “I wanted our services in China because I believe in connecting the whole world and I felt that we can help in creating a more open society. I worked hard to do so. But we can never agree on what it will take to operate there for us, and they never let us go to the values and we have the freedom to stand for those values that we agree and fight for free expressions around the world.
