Ramadan is a month of spiritual purification, self-discipline and increase in devotion. However, many people inadvertently adopt habits that can negatively affect their sharp and overall health.

There are common mistakes here to escape during the holy month.

    Skipping suhur

Some people drink Suhor (pre-food food) before sleep or just before fasting, which is a big mistake. Suhur is a Sunnah and is necessary to maintain energy throughout the day. Fasting without Suhur can lead to weakness, dizziness and dehydration.

    Overting on Iftar

Excessive food, especially fried and fasting with spicy objects, puts a stress on the stomach, leading to digestion issues and weight gain. A balanced and light food is recommended for Iftar.

    Not drinking enough water

Many people do not drink enough water during Suhur and Iftar, which leads to dehydration throughout the day. Excessive tea or coffee intake can also contribute to dehydration. It is important to drink at least 8 to 10 glasses of water daily.

    Excessive sleeping

During the day, too much gold and waking overnight is a common habit in Ramadan, which negatively affects health. A balanced sleep schedule is necessary to maintain both physical and mental vigilance.

Consumption of unhealthy foods in Suhur and Iftar

Relying on processed foods, fried items and highly spicy dishes can cause digestive problems. Instead, it is better to consume protein -rich foods, fiber, fruits, yogurt and vegetables for better digestion and energy.

    Sleeping immediately after Iftar

Going to bed immediately after Iftar can cause digestive issues like acid reflux and indigestion. A little walk or light activity is appropriate after eating.

    Debate

Fasting is not only about avoiding food, but also about improving behavior. Anger, quarrelsome, and harsh speech should be avoided, and patience, forgiveness and kindness should be practiced.

    Excessive consumption of caffeinated drinks

Excessive tea, coffee, or soft drinks can cause dehydration, as caffeine reduces water retention in the body. Instead, it is better to consume fresh juice, lemonade and many plain water.

    Neglected exercise

Some people stop exercising completely during Ramadan, while others make the mistake of engaging in intensive workouts while fasting. After Iftar, light exercise or walking can be beneficial for maintaining physical health.

Avoiding these mistakes, a healthy and more spiritually to be fulfilled by individuals.
