For the first time after the discovery of species 100 years ago, a huge squad has been shot in its natural environment.
The 30 cm-lumb (11.8in) teenager near the South Sandwich Islands in the South Atlantic Ocean was caught on camera at a depth of 600 meters (1,968 ft).
A team of scientists led by the Essex Academic University recorded a footage in March during a 35-day discovery to find a new maritime life.
Experts believe that the collosal squid can grow up to 7 meters (23 ft) in length and weigh up to 500 kg (1,100LB) – makes them the heaviest on the planet.
Mollusk was discovered by its 100 -year anniversary, which was previously identified and named.
Faukor (Bhi) vessel of Crew Onboard The Schmid Ocean Institute used a remote-controlled vehicle to spot it.

Chief scientist of the university, Dr. Mitchell Taylor said the team was initially uncertain as to what the squad was, but it was filmed because it was “beautiful and unusual”.
The footage then Dr. Cat was verified by Bolstad, who said that most of the whales and seabard in the previous squid encounters had remains in the abdomen.
He said, “It is exciting to see the first time in the insequent footage of a teenager and humble to think that he does not know that humans are present,” he said.
Very few people are known about the life cycle of the collosal squid, but they eventually lose the transparent appearance of adolescent girls.
Another distinctive feature of the species is the presence of hooks among their eight weapons.
Died adults have been first filmed by fishing people, but have never been seen deeply alive.
Natural History Museum has suggested that it is It is difficult to estimate the global population of colloxal squid,
In 2022, the institution stated that the lack of comments meant “even today, the huge wisdom still snatches the line between legend and reality”.

Scientists also revealed that, in January, he first captured a glaciers’ footage of a glacial glass squad.
Executive Director of Schmid Ocean Institute, Dr. Jyotika Virmani said, “The first view of two different squads on back-to-back campaigns is notable and shows how little we have seen about the magnificent residents of the southern Ocean.”
“These unforgettable moments remind us that the ocean is solving with secrets yet to be resolved.”
