The week 8 of the 2025 college softball season was one of the best, most competitive weekends this year.
Number 1 Texas Longhorn and then no. 2 Oklahoma Suuners both lost on Friday, making it in our top two teams for the first time Espn.com/usa softball collection The pole lost the same day since 2 June 2019. Texas bounced back to win the last two matches of the series, but Oklahoma lost twice.
No. 9 South Carolina won an impressive series at the time of the then. 3 LSUs in Baton Roose for the first time since 1997.

Devin Netz, P, Arizona
An ideal game was not just enough for netz. He also exploded a two -run homer against Byu.
Redshart Senior had an impressive season in both circle and batsman box. She claims 2.54 ERA in 85.1 innings of work and strikes 72 strikeouts. And he hit 46 RBI, 12 home runs with .383 batting average. Number 12 Wildcats are one of the most exciting teams in softball this season, and Netz is a major reason.

No. 2 Florida No. 10 Florida State (Wednesday, 6 pm ACC Network Extra)
A top 10 matchup? check. Reputation in the state? check. This game has a classic making. Gaters and Seminoles Softball Rivalry goes back, leading the all-time series 29–23 with Florida. Florida State rides in the game at the line of 13-game win with the third best team batting average (.373) in the country. Florida bounced back later this week, winning three directly in Obern, after losing the UCF 4–0 heartbreaker. Taylor Shupekar finds the way for gates with 56 RBI (the second best mark in the nation), while Florida is supported by a pitching staff that claims 2.15 ERA (tied with gates for 12th). Watch out for a huge game in Talhasi.
