Colin Munro, the top-order batter of Islamabad United, won a major milestone on Friday during the initial match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 10 against Lahore Kalandars.
Munro played an important noted knock of 59 runs in 42 delivery to win against United against United to protect his title.
The left -handed batsman overtook the record of former Quetta Gladiators captain Rosawe’s record, which became the only foreign player in PSL history with more than 50 scores.
In today’s fifty tournaments, Munro had 13th, which crossed the release record of 12 half -centuries.
Other foreign batsmen in the list include Luke Ronchi, Jason Roy and Shane Watson.
Among all the players, Peshawar Zalmi captain Babar Azam led the chart with the most fifty plus in PSL history- 35 after his name.
In the PSL 10 curtain razor, the host and defending champion Islamabad United beaten the Lahore Kalandars in a wide manner, who debut with the Jason Holder’s four-wicket hall and courtesy of the unbeaten half-century of Colin Munro.
Holder -led United Bowling Attack supported the decision of skipper Shadab Khan, as he booked the batting unit of Kalandars at a low 139 in 19.2 overs despite a Goti half -century by Abdullah Shafiq.
In response, United comfortably collected a target of 140 runs for the loss of just two wickets and 14 balls to make a victorious debut to protect their title.
The road to the domestic side was Munro, who scored 59 runs in 42 delivery with the help of seven fours and one six. He was supported by all -rounder Salman Ali Aga, who dismissed 43 notes from 34 delivery with the help of three fours and one six.
