Google recently announced that Mithun will soon change the Google assistant everywhere, from your phone and smartwatch to smart home speakers. Chromos has now started from today and joined the infection bandwagan.
The company has closed the stable rollout of Chrome OS M134, and it marks the silent exhaust of the Google assistant. Google says in a community updated note, “When the assistant is triggered, you will be automatically directed in the Gemini app on your Chromebook.”
Google says that feature update will roll out in a phased manner, so you may not be able to reach the Gemini interface immediately after installing the latest software. Just to clean any illusion here, Gemini Chrome is accessible on OS, but with the new build, it replaces Google auxiliary.
