Beijing officials said that the Chinese army started a large -scale drill around Taiwan on Tuesday and gave a message of “serious warning” and “tremendous control against Taiwan’s freedom”.
The National Defense Ministry of Taiwan said that it had tracked 19 Chinese naval ships in the water around the island from 6 am to 6 am on Monday in a 24 -hour period. Practice – which included the Chinese Navy, air, land and rocket forces – were undeclared.
“China’s banging military excitement not only threatened peace in Taiwan Strait, but also reduced security throughout the region, as a drill near Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Korea, Philippines and South China Sea by drill,” Taiwan’s President’s Office has written on X.
Taiwan defense officials said they were monitoring the movement of the Shandong aircraft carrier of China since Saturday and its carrier group had entered Taiwan’s air defense identity area on Monday. In response, Taiwan sent military aircraft and ships and active land-based missile systems, according to Reuters.

Taiwan’s Defense Minister Wellington Ku said, “I want to say that these tasks depict the destruction of regional peace and stability (China’s) destruction.”
White House Press Secretary Karolin Lewit told reporters on Tuesday that “The National Security Council informed me this morning, and he said that President Taiwan is emphasizing the importance of maintaining peace in Strait, encouraging the peaceful resolution of these cross-strategies, (and) repeating our opposition for any unilateral efforts,”
The Xinhua news agency of China said that the Eastern Theater Command on Tuesday operated the “Number of Multi-subject-President in the north, south and east of the Taiwan Island”.
The theater command “organized its ship and aircraft structures, coordinating with traditional missile soldiers and long -range rocket launching systems, to conduct aerial interception drills, attacking marine goals, attacks on land items, and joint blockade and control,” Sinhu said that the command said.

The exercise “integrated operations, the seizure of operational control and the troops of the soldiers were aimed at testing the capabilities of seizing the multi-directional accurate strike, the command said.
The Office of Taiwan Affairs of China also said that the practice Lai Ching-Tee, was strongly directed to the pro-freedom president of Taiwan.
