New York-Washington Capital star Alex Ovechin scored a goal number 895 on Sunday, in which Hall of Fame Ven Greatzaki became NHL’s all-time goal-scoring leader.

Ovechin eventually placed the snow at the center and appreciated the crowd and then pointed to the sky with his gloves, a gesture to honor the dear loved ones.
