A judge from a southern California was convicted on Tuesday of killing his wife for a deadly shoot of his wife during an argument.
Orange County Superior Court Judge Jeffrey Ferguson, 74 -year -old, 65 -year -old in his Ainahim Hills house was on a test to kill his wife Sheryl. Ferguson took a stand in his defense and admitted to shoot his wife but claimed that it was an accident.

Ferguson’s Attorney, Cameron Tally said that there is a plan to appeal for the decision of the Defense Scheme.
“I respect the jury’s decision,” said Tally. “At the same time, we all know that injuries do not always get right … I still believe in Jeff.”
The decision comes after the deadlock of a previous jury last month and Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Ellenor J. Hunter declared a misunderstanding. The prosecutors said that Ferguson and his wife had an argument about finance in a restaurant on August 3, 2023, when he indicated a hand like a gun. When he watched TV with his adult son, he continued his argument when he returned home, and Ferguson’s wife cheated him to pointing a real gun. He forced a pistol from his ankle holster before shooting in the chest.
According to prosecutors, Ferguson was drunk at that time.

After the shooting, both Ferguson and his son called 911, and Ferguson confessed his court clerk and Belif to murder.
“I just lost it. I shot my wife. I will not stay tomorrow. I will be in custody. I am very sorry,” Ferguson wrote.
His son Philip testified that he performed CPR on his father to overcome the gun after shooting and he performed CPR on his mother.
Ferguson spoke to the police outside his house and again when he was in custody. He was watching on the video and saying that his son and everyone would hate him. He also admitted that he killed his wife and asked her for a jury to blame her.

Officials said they found 47 weapons, including guns used in shooting and more than 26,000 rounds of ammunition in the house. He said that Ferguson had experience and training in firearms.
“It was not an accident. Ferguson was never trained to pointing a gun, which he did not intend to destroy,” said in a statement, “Orange County’s District Attorney Tod Spitzer said in a statement.
Ferguson was an prosecutor before becoming a judge in 2015.
He was on bail of $ 2 million, but was not presiding in the court as the state’s Constitution faced a judge of hearing allegations from hearing cases.
