The remains of one of the oldest and oldest detainees seized by the militant group Hamas are expected to be handed over to Thursday during an attack ignition to the war in the Gaza Strip.

Who are the four hostages
A senior Hamas official announced earlier this week that he would release four Israeli hostage bodies on Thursday and six living hostages on Saturday, as part of the ongoing ceasefire deal in Gaza.

It will include the bodies of the Bibas family – one mother and her two children. While Ariel was 4 years old, KFIR was taken by Hamas on October 7, 2023. Later Hamas was the youngest Israeli hostage in captivity. The fourth hostage is expected to be issued, a retired journalist who was 83 years old when he was taken captive.
The Bibus family had become a symbol of the plight of the Israeli hostages in the captivity of Hamas. His fate in the Gaza war was mostly unknown. However, Hamas confirmed that the family died during the Israeli strike.
The Gaza ceasefire began to end the 15 -month long war in Gaza in January. The three-ended ceasefire scheme is currently in its first stage, which includes the exchange of hostage and prisoners between Israel and Hamas.
