Top seeded Obern men’s basketball team defeated the NCA Division I in the early stages of the men’s basketball tournament.
The Tigers defeated Kreyon in the second round on Saturday on Saturday to carry forward Sweet 16.
Barcale, who is providing comments during the tournament Games broadcast, believes Johnny Bruome will cross them into Obern Vidya, if he can take Tigers to his first national championship.

Barkle said during Thursday’s telecast, “If he can finish the journey, I would say that he (Broome) is the greatest player in Obern Basketball history.” “I really mean what he has been for the program, he and the coach (Bruce) Pearl and those people have been incredible. But if they can win a national championship, man can listen, it would be great.

Barkle then pointed to the presence of Obern in the 2019 Final Four, and declared it the best season of the program to date.

“And I would say this, I said that when he made it in the final a few years ago, it is the biggest season in Obern Basketball history. If he is capable of winning the championship, I would say that he is the biggest player in Obern Basketball history. He is better than me in college.”
Obern faced some doubts for this year’s tournament due to late team struggles in a regular session. Tigers dropped back-to-back games at Texas A&M and Alabama earlier this month.

Tennessee surpassed Obern in the SEC tournament semi -finals. Swayamsevaks eventually fell into Florida in the SEC tournament championship game.
Barkle pointed to the quality of opponents defeating Obern. “They did not lose for providence,” he said. “They lost to three schools, ranked from top 10 to 15.

Obern will take the fifth seed Michigan Wolverin in Sweet 16 in Atlanta on 28 March.
