Police are searching for a suspect after four students were injured in a shooting on Tuesday afternoon at Wilmer-Hachins High School in Dallas.
According to Fox 4 Dallas reporting, a 17 -year -old was shot in the leg.
According to the report, two other students were shot and one was grazed. He is 15 to 18 years of age.
According to Fox 4, one of the victims has “serious injuries” and others’ injuries are not a threat to life.

The Dallas Independent School District (DISD) said that the school was “secured” in an update shared after 2 pm
Police said the suspect was identified during a news conference, but was not yet detained.

During the news conference, DisD Superintendent Stephanie S. Alicele said that an official assigned to the school responded within two minutes, followed by additional law enforcement agencies.
According to the school district, parents and parents were allowed to reunite with students at Eagles Stadium, which are adjacent to the premises.
All students were raised by their families till 6:40 pm

“We will provide law enforcement, which will provide necessary equipment to arrest criminals and provide justice to criminals,” he wrote. “… Cecilia and I ask my fellow Texas to join the fast recovery of victims and pray for the entire Wilmer-Hachins High School community.”
Ebot said since becoming a governor, Texas has provided over $ 3 billion in school safety funding.
“This session, I am demanding an additional $ 500 million for the safety of schools across the state,” he wrote.
According to Fox 4, about a year ago, the shooting took place in high school, motivating the use of metal detectors and clear backpacks.
Wilmer-Hachins High School will be closed for the remaining of the week, and additional officers will be deployed in other district schools, Alysalde said.
DISD did not immediately respond to the request of Fox News Digital for comments.
