Wtf?! Have you ever wished that your monitor has an air purification unit? Probably not, but it appears that the niche product has become a reality for Asus, which is making three of these performances measuring different sizes and priced at $ 130 to $ 359.

Asus says its new VU Air IONIZER series is designed to increase the good of users. The main attraction is the air ionic found in each monitor. Asus claims that it effectively removes pollen, allergen and other pollutants, and reduces 90% of aerial dust in just three hours.

Ionizer has an effective coverage area of 1M, which should be sufficient for anyone sitting in front of one of these monitors. This does not require filter, either.

The display itself is available in the size of 23.8-inch, 27-inch and 34 inches. Two small models have an IPS panel, 16: 9 on screen 1080p resolution, and 250 nits shine. They also provide 1,300: 1 contrast ratio, 178 ° viewing angle, and up to 100 Hz fresh rates.

The 34-inch Asus Vu34WCIP-W Monitor uses a VA panel and has 3440 x 1440 (21: 9) ultravide resolution, a 3,000: 1 contrast ratio, and reaches 300 NITs. The 100Hz refresh rate and 1MS MPRT response time remain the same.

Another interesting feature of these monitors is their packaging. Asus says that rather than throwing cardboard boxes for recycling, as ideal, they are designed to bend in different shapes and re -presented as a desk accessories.

Packaging for small models can be diverted into a phone holder, desk organizer and a small laptop stand, while the large monitor box can turn into a phone holder, desk organizer, a laptop stand and a file holder. The laptop stands and phone holders are designed to promote proper currency and reduce neck and back tension, according to SUS.

One can argue that with some free time and some ingredients, most packaging can be converted into equal accessories, but especially designed for this purpose is a good touch.

If you want to breathe easy at your desk, then 23.8-inch Asus Vu249hfi-W starts at just $ 129.99. The 27-inch Asus Vu279hfi-W is $ 159.99, and the 34-inch Asus Vu34WCIP-V is $ 359.99. Buyers also get a free month of Adobe Creative Cloud to sweeten the deal.

Asus is not strangers to add unconventional features to traditional PC hardware. Last month, the company revealed a aromatic wireless mouse that emits a customized aroma.
