Liverpool’s head coach Arne Slot has revealed that his predecessor Jurgen Clop arrived on Sunday to congratulate him after winning the Premier League title.
Slot’s side defeated Tottenham Hotspur 5–1 to achieve the 20th league title of the club in Enfield.
Dutchman described the clop on Sunday as “one of the best days of his life”-to convey the message after the game between Liverpool in 2019-20 with Liverpool.
Slot said on Friday, “A lot of messages and they are nine out of 10 times, but they come for a good heart.”
“I have tried to answer all of them. It’s amazing. Especially on Sundays, especially for Liverpool fans, it was probably one of the best days of his life and it was so for me. Seeing how much it meant for fans and players.

Slot said: “I think the main advantage of winning the league is that till now, if I talk to new players, which we wanted to bring, I always told them that our fans are really special, that it is special to play in this club.
