Erizona State Freshman Jaden Quentance, an estimated top-pack in the 2026 NBA draft, performed successful surgery to repair a torn ACL in his right knee on March 19 at the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, his father, Hamin Quantance told ESPN.
Jayden Vizalata has been approved for contact in September, six months after his surgery, his father says, put him in line to return to the 2025–26 college season in November to return to action.
“He is already ahead of the schedule, the doctor says, and the approval should be approved in September,” said Hamin Quentance.
Jayden Quintance will also find out to enter the transfer portal after a season, in which he was named in the Big 12 All-Freshman and all-defensive teams, which were only the fifth players in the history of the conference to achieve the distinction.
“We are trying to keep the right people around us,” Hamin said strangeness.
Jayden Quintance took an average of 9.3 points, 7.8 rebounds and 2.6 blocks per game, despite being the youngest player in college basketball, reached the campus in 16 years after graduating in high school a year ago, a year ago. He is not eligible for 2025 drafts due to the NBA age limit, which determines that a player should be 19 years old in the calendar year of the draft.
Born on July 11, 2007, Quentage must have been the third youngest player in this year’s McDonald’s All American Games, even though he was in his original high school class. He has played the entire college season as 17 -year -old, which is almost unprecedented.
In the 6 -Foot -10, he was one of the best shot blockers in college basketball this season, with 7 -Foot -5 wingspan, excellent mobility and strong trends on both ends of the floor. He is a strong passer-by, an important weapon that makes his own shot from the perimeter or comes out of the pick-end-rol, and the versatility of defensively slides on the floor. He will immediately become one of the top players to the transfer portal, he should actually enter, and will be closely studied by NBA officials throughout the season, whether it is eventually on the land.
“I plan to return better than last year,” strangeness told ESPN. “I am already attacking my rehabilitation aggressively.”
