According to Mark Gurman of Bloomberg, there is a “gearing up” to launch a new version of 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Air with Apple M4 chip. The company is preparing for debut in March.
We have been listening to rumors about this M4 MacBook Air for the longest time. The reference for this also leaked within the McOS 15.2 beta in December, suggesting that its launch was around the corner. Mark Gurman also referred to the fact that MacBook was on track for earlier launch as compared to other spring products such as Air iPhone 16E and iPad Air. However, the iPhone 16E was launched, and still there is no MacBook Air.
However, it should be changed soon. Gurman reports that the new M4 laptop should be launched in March, and Apple is currently preparing marketing, sales and retail team for it. He also says that the current M2 and M3 models are facing less inventory in shops.
In addition to the M4 chip, we do not really have many expectations for M4 MacBook Air. Some admirable upgrades include Thunderbolt 4 (instead of USB 4/Thunderbolt 3), as well as a center stage camera and a nano-texture display option. All these upgrade started on other M4-equipped MACS.
