For the second consecutive week, the number 1 team at the Women’s College Basketball took it to the chin.
Two weeks ago, the UCLA suffered the first loss of the season, which became rival from the USC. On Sunday, the Notre Dame, who replaced Bruce over the Associated Press Rankings, lost a double-ovartime thriller in the neck state, snatching the 19-game winning line of Irish.
This week is the turn of Texas at number 1, making Longhorn’s fourth team to carry that mental in this season (notre Dame, UCLA and South Carolina others). The female AP polls the most different number 1 in a season since the commencement of AP Poll in 1976-77. This has happened last time: 1987-88 (Iowa, Tennessee, Texas, Obern), 2003-04 (Ucon, Duke, Tency, Texas), 2004-05 (LSU, Duke, Tennessee, Stanford), 2019-20 ( South Carolina, Oregan, Ucon, Stanford) and 2020-21 (Stanford, Yucon, Louisville and South Carolina).
