Annabel Croft Before the diagnosis of cancer has opened up about an early symptom that displays her late husband.

“We were making a bed one day and he just turned towards me and he said, ‘I have not told you this anabel, but I have got this fun pain and they are not just going away, they are getting worse,” Croft told Gabi Roslin. But Middle point podcast,
Croft said that he initially thought that “it should be something like indigestion or cyst or whatever”, saying: “It was never on me that it could be so frightening.”
After scanning Kolman, he was told by doctors that he had cancer.
“It started with colon cancer, but it could be everywhere at the same time,” Croft explained. “But it spread to the liver, it had spread to the kidneys, even in the brain.”
However, Croft confirmed that “he actually died of sepsis and had a hole from one of the tumors”, which occurred after “flying to Portugal”.
Colorectal cancer is the second major cause of cancer deaths. The risk of achieving this increases as people’s age, but lifestyle and genetic factors can also increase risk.
Symptoms of colorectal cancer, commonly known as colon cancer, may include changes in bowel habits, blood, diarrhea and constipation in stool, stomach pain or cramps and weight loss without any clarification.
Croft married Kolman six years after meeting in 1987 when investment bankers and professional yatsmen taught her to leave for a TV program. They were married in 1993 and had three children.
During the lockdown, the couple-who was married for 30 years-started a tennis academy together in the name of Croft, and spent the Kovid-19 lockdown while converting an old DPD van into a mobile house.
Coleman’s death inspired Croft to participate in 2023 seriesstrictly Come Dancing Since he was a great fan of the show.
“He cried after seeing it,” she recalled when it was announced that she was joining the series. “If I was cooking, he used to call me, and he was crying after seeing it. So, I hope he is watching there.”
Croft was partnered with Johannes Radebe and finished fifth.
