Atmberg Technologies co-founder Arindam Paul warned on LinkedIn that AI cut 40โ50% white-collar jobs, so that the middle class could be threatened. His post gave rise to mixed reactions.

A LinkedIn Post by Atmberg Technologies Private Limited, co-founder Young Entrepreneur Arindam Paul, has gone viral to eradicate AI’s threat to at least 40-50% white-collar jobs, which increases a warm debate between neccess. In the post, Arindam argued that most people, including our leaders, still fail to understand how significant threats AI can be to our economy.
He further said in this post that ‘about 40-50 percent white-collar jobs that exist today may come into existence’ and ‘This will mean the end of the middle class and the end of the story of consumption.’
Arindam claimed that India’s manufacturing sector is nowhere where it should happen when it comes to generating jobs that pay Rs 3-6 lakh per year.

He underlined the irony of AI in the workforce. He said that while the corporation is currently happy that AI can reduce manpower, increase efficiency, and improve the bottom line, they forget that consumers will have no top row, without jobs and money.
In the following comments, Arindam explained that while AI can create new jobs in a long time, the impact of job loss can be felt in the short term.
