An alleged co-founder of the online hacker movement has been detained after the 2021 data violation of the Texas Republican Party.
The 37 -year -old Canadian National Obray Cotley is professionally known as “Kirtanar”.
The US Department of Justice (DOJ) accused Cotle of hacking in the Texas Republican Party web server and stealing sensitive data in 2021.
The DOJ said Cotto was arrested in Canada on Wednesday, and officials are making additional allegations under the Canadian law.

According to a press release, in Texas, Cottle faced allegations of “illegally moving, or using the means of identity with the intention of assistance or abette, or using the means of identity with illegal activity under the state or federal law.

Cottle uses its linkedIn profile to describe itself as a “dirty blackhhat but good boi”. The same page showed Cotley as one of the founders of anonymous, a decentralized hacker group that is aimed at dissolving government institutions in protest.
“Yes, that one,” Cotle wrote. “Hal Turner, Scientology, Gai Fox Mask, you found it. Actually. Google it.”
According to a report of the acting of the American Attorney Margaret Leachman for the western district of Texas, Cotle had a unauthorized access to a third-party hosting company called “Epic” before defaming the Texas GOP website.
“Texas: To promote democratic erosion of church/state obstacles, taking voices from women,” said anonymous of the site’s landing page. The website banner was replaced with cartoon characters, a porn image and a music video.

In this release, it has been alleged that cotton stole the backup of the website’s server which contains personal identity information. The stolen data was then posted online for public download. The prosecutors also boasted about the violation on social media.
The bio of Cottle’s Tiktok Page says “You probably saw that anonymous founder hacker man in news or vice or well.”

According to the DOJ, the data of the Texas Republican Party leaks was discovered in a search on Cottle’s individual electronic devices.
The violation of the benami group’s website was allegedly vengeance. In September 2021, Lone Star State passed the Texas Heartbeat Act. Under the Act, abortion is illegal that can detect a fetal heartbeat, detecting about five or six weeks.
Cottle has also been linked to a “political doxing” data violation of the Christian Crowdfonding Site in February 2022, when after hosting a funderizer for the Canada Freedom convoy, in 2022, in 2022. The FBI is investigating the case of Austin Cyber Task Force Cottal, and Assistant American Attorney G. Karthik Srinivasan is prosecuting the case. If convicted, Cotley has to face a maximum of five years of jail sentence.
The US Attorney’s office for the western district of Texas did not immediately respond to the request for Fox News Digital’s comment.
