    Portugal Joana babyAt the age of 64, history was made by becoming the second oldest T20i cricket debutant against Norway recently during a three -match series, which lagged behind only Sally Barton of Gibraltar, which started at 66 years and 334 days old. The child left the previous record holders behind Andrew Brownli of the Falkland Islands and the Maili Moore of Cayman.
    The child’s performance in the series included scoring two runs in the first T20I match, while not batting in later sports. His only bowling opportunity came in the second match, where he did four delivery and scored 11 runs without any wicket.

    Portugal’s team captain Sarah Fu-Ryland, at the age of 44, praised the child, called him “inspiration for many cricketers in the country”.
    The Portuguese team had a unique age variety with three teenage players-15-year-old Ishrat Cheema, and 16-year-old children Maryam Wasim and Afsheen Ahmed-Bachche.
    The series between Portugal and Norway proved to be competitive. Portugal claimed victory in the initial game, successfully to win 16 runs to defend a total of 109 runs.
    Norway bounced back to the second match, successfully with eight balls a target of 137 runs and with five wickets.
    The decisive match went to Portugal, who successfully followed Norway’s 125 -run target, with additional runs with nine wickets, winning the series.
    Children, despite any other recorded competitive appearance, demonstrated notable spirit by participating in International cricket for his age.
