Alice Weidel, the co-leader of the distant option for Germany (AFD), vowed to “chase” other parties in the country, if her party goes against.
CDU/CSU Center-Right Block is leading according to initial projects, and its leader Frederick Merz has repeatedly rejected an alliance with AFD.
After the exit poll on Sunday, Vedel said on Sunday, “We will continue to do our work in opposition, as we have done since 2017, as we have done since 2017.”
He said, “We will chase others to make intelligent policies for our country.”
Videl said that she was “very happy that we have increased a lot.”
According to preliminary results, AFD has almost doubled its vote edge compared to the 10.4% achieved in the 2021 election.
