Speak with BBC Radio 2 With Stephen and Host Joe, Jack credited his fellow writer for the powerful concept of the Netflix series.

“The first thing I said, what will happen if we wrote it together? And will you be ready to put a separate hat with me for the first time?” Jack said. “It was very exciting to work with Stephen as a writer. It was very interesting to have a completely different conversation with him before the words on the page and we had to see ourselves.”
He also shared, “We had to understand this problem, to see male anger, male anger, we had to understand our own anger and our anger, and our own problems and our cruelty, and to understand the methods we are less than right.”
“And Stephen and I were able to have some very honest discussions, and we went to some very dark places, and I think honesty is hopeful on screen,” Jack Thorn said.
In addition, Graham recalled how news about young boys involved in deadly stabs inspired him to develop shows. “I read an article in paper about a young boy, who stabbed a young girl, and then on the news a few months later, there was a piece, and it was again, it was a young boy who stabbed a young girl, and they were opposite of the country,” said Stephen Graham.
Adolescent On March 13, he started premiers on Netflix.
