Sachin Yadav, Rohit Yadav, and Sahil Silwal will be the Indian javelin to participate in the Neeraj Chopra classic event inaugurated on May 24 at Sri Kantarwa Stadium in Bengaluru.
The three Indian throwing Neeraj Chopra and the tournament will include seven foreign throwers, who have been given a category status by world athletics.

Among the three competing Indians, 25 -year -old Sachin has the best career throw of 84.39 meters and has won all the events that participated in 2025. He started the season with individual best at the National Games in Uttarakhand and won gold at the Federation Cup in Kochi earlier this month. He will represent India at the Asian Championship (27-31 May) in South Korea.
Rohit has an individual best of 83.40 meters and has to make a proper comeback yet after his surgery last year. He won a silver with 80.47 meters at the Uttarakhand National Games, but finished seventh in the Federation Cup with a modest 76.37 meters.
Sahil is to throw another promising spear and has a personal best of 81.81 meters, which he achieved to win a gold medal at the National Inter-State Championship last year.
While the Olympic champion Arshad Madem rejected the offer to play in Neeraj Chopra Classic Classic, which was agreed by several athletes, including former world champion Anderson Peters and former Olympic champion Thomas Roaler, citing dates with their training program for the upcoming Asian Athletics Championship.
