Lahore: Alzari Joseph of Peshawar Zalmi limited Quetta Gladiators to 178/7 in its 17th match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10 at Gaddafi Stadium on Sunday.

Gladiators made a good start for their innings, as their early pair of Finn Alan and Saud Shakeel scored 46 runs.

Alan, who was the main aggressive of the inauguration, was first to depart as he was a victim of Alzari Joseph on the third delivery of the fifth over. He scored 16 runs with the help of four fours and two sixes.

Shakeel was then involved in another important partnership for gladiators when he scored 45 runs for the second wicket with Riley Rosouv, before Sam Ayub rejected both set batsmen in his gradual overs, falling below 105/3 in 11.2 overs at a total of 105/3.

Skipar hit five fours on the way to 26-gent 32, while Rossouv scored 27 runs in 18 delivery, killing several borders.

After the back-to-back blow, Kusal Mendis and Mark Chapman made an anchoring a 39-run partnership for the fourth wicket, until Joseph caught the East in the 17th over.

Mendis scored 32 runs in 27 delivery with the help of five borders.

On the other hand, the hunting of Chapman, Luke Wood fell into the finals in the finals, which was with three borders, with 26 out of 33 delivery after the top scoring for gladiators.

Azlari Joseph was a standout bowler for Zalmi, taking three wickets for just 33 runs in his four overs, followed by Ayub with two, while the wood stuck with a skull.

Earlier, Peshawar Zalmi won the toss and chose to bowl first against Quetta Gladiators.

Quetta Gladiators will attract confidence with their wide 80 -run win over Peshawar Zalmi in their season’s opener.

This major performance, which displayed Queta’s all-round abilities, gives them a psychological edge in today’s struggle.

Quetta Gladiators have so far conducted a roller-coaster tournament. After his vigorous start against Peshawar, he has failed to maintain continuity, especially in his batting department.

His recent narrow win against Karachi Kings, however, where he defended the total of 142, instilling fresh confidence in the squad.

Captain Saud Shakeel’s form will be important at the top of the order, while the Sri Lankan star Kusal Mendis and South African legendary release Rosaav International Experience. The bowling attack was carried out by the evergreen Mohammad Amir and his strongest suit, complemented by Abrar Ahmed’s Mystery Spin.

Meanwhile, Peshawar Zalmi has tolerated a difficult campaign, losing three of his four matches.

His only win-Multan Sultans performed a commanding 120-run winning and they are struggling to create pace.

The fate of Yellow Storm largely depends on his talisman batsman Babar Azam, who have been consistent without being explosive.

The aggressive Mohammad Haris connects the shelling in the middle order, while the foreign pacer Luke Wood and Alzari Joseph led the bowling attack that shows the glow of talent, but there is a lack of continuity in the overs of death.

The competition presents a complicated strategic battle between Quetta’s superior bowling attack and Peshawar’s top-batsman batting lineup.
