A judge sentenced a former Disney World employee to a three -year prison, when he hacked the park’s menu system to remove peanut allergies, add deleting and change the fonts.
According to Fox 35, 40 -year -old Michael Sheer of Winter Garden, Florida, will serve three years in Federal Jail and seize his computer and the victims will have to pay $ 687,776.50 in reinstatement.
Scheuer convicted the allegations in January.
He worked as a menu production manager for Disney and was responsible for the construction and distribution of all restaurant menu, including the digital menu, Fox 35. He was abolished on 13 June 2024.

According to a federal complaint, Scheuer’s firing is “controversial and … not considered cordial”, alleging that Scheuer “made many menu changes, which endangered public health and safety,” according to the outlet.
The complaint stated that the Scheuer added impurity and changed the pricing of some items on the menu. It also states that he sent several login requests, which prevented more than a dozen employees from being able to reach their accounts and systems.
Any of his changes did not make it in printed or digital versions of the menu, but the complaint stated that the damage was more than $ 150,000.

Scheuer initially denied any participation or wrongdoing when the FBI was questioned, alleging that Disney “was trying to frame him as they were concerned about it and the terms under which they were abolished.”
According to Fox 35, Attorney David Haas, who represents the skier, said that his customer had a disability that affected his employment in Disney.
“He had a medical phenomenon, resulting in a suspended,” Has said, “he was suspended.” “Disney then failed to respond to his inquiry as to why he was suspended, and then his suspension was converted into unnecessary end.”
