What is this?
Urus has been a transformative vehicle for Lamborghini. While many people were left on the idea of the Italian supercar manufacturer, who used their efforts into a high-riding SUV, Uras has become a fugitive success, and it is now the most popular car of the brand with more than 38,000.
Meanwhile, Urus SE marks a new phase for URUS. It first comes with a plug-in hybrid system, but does electrification change the overall experience? We are finding out.
What’s new?
Of course, the major changes to talk here are the implementation of that plug-in hybrid setup, but there have been changes elsewhere, Lamborghini’s previous URUS model has been brought through learning. There is a new, slightly soft design than before, while the inside is upgraded to the screen and general switchgear.
As before, Urus is supported by mechanical from the wider Volkswagen group – which is why many components of this Lamborghini are shared with Audi and Bentley vehicles.
What is under the bonnet?
Do not make any mistake, this is not an example of downsizing in Lamborghini-you are still thumping a 4.0-liter twin-tourbocharged V8 in Uras’s heart, although now some couples have helped with electrification. An electric motor is placed within the gearbox, which is connected to a battery and together, they combine to produce an impressive 789bhp and a huge 900Nm torque with the engine. This allows this mammoth SUV to weight more than 2.5 tonnes that goes from 0-60mph in 3.2 seconds and then 194Mph.
Nevertheless, with the battery being fully charged, it should manage only 37 mile electric driving, while 51g/km low CO2 emissions show the more green-nature side of the Urus-a little.
What do you like to drive?
Uras is a big, imposing thing to clause behind the wheel, but when you are talking about it is surprisingly mild nature. Here is the all-wheel-starring at work, which makes low-speed driving easier, as much as you expect, yet motorway gents are held in an assurance, controlled manner. It is only relaxing to run uras on electric-power.
However, the accelerator reach the front of the pedal, and the uras completely turns into a separate animal. Performance is Savez and while the exhaust note can be slightly one dimensional, it is still quite exciting. We noted that the infection between electric and petrol power at times felt a little climate, you felt your mind.
how does it look?
The original Uras was something of a statement by Lamborghini and new is no different. However, it is a slightly more soft character, as a result of a re -designed front end. You can call it different from the Urus of the previous generation by the badge placement-it now sits on a long bonnet, rather than that is different as before.
You still have a treasure of color options available to choose, capable of taking buyers between the shades near the shades. However, according to Lamborghini, the most popular color is one rather understood black.
What is this inside?
Lamborghini has become famous for her internal fiery and is something in playing in Uras. Of course, there are tail-tail areas of shared parts with Audi; The main screen is the same and some bongs and alerts are only the same as you will find in one of the products of Inglstad. But there is a large level of fit-end-finish, while the engine continues to provide a fighter jet-style cover theater for the start button that you will expect from a Lamborghini.
Space-wise things are at the top-it is a large SUV, finally-and in the back there is a lot of space for those, although slightly encroachment is done by the headroom sloping roof. In 616 liters, despite the inclusion of hybrid powertrain, the boot space of the Eurus SE reflects the previous generation car.
What is imagination?
From £ 208,800, Uras SE is a premium command. SE, so far, is ‘entry-level’ Uras, but given that it is a lambornini, it is hardly less-east. The main infotainment is comfortable to use the screen, in which low display covers heating and ventilation systems. There is also a luxurious trimmed and finished steering wheel, which combines the level of connection with you with the car.
Again, like the exterior, you are free to tweete and change the interior of the urus, but you would like – and although you want to pay extra. Soft, Momi Teeher and Soft-Tech Alakantara all help Uras to feel that it is actually like a premium car.
Decision
The original URUus was never going to be about efficiency and despite the involvement of plug-in hybrid setup, SE is not either. Battery assistance has done what to give Uras a comprehensive band of purpose, meaning that you can once revolve around the city in a quiet silence before awakening the V8 engine.
It is an impressively dynamic car for such a large vehicle, and when you add it to both in and out of the strong finish, there is no reason that Uras’s popularity should soon be low as SE.
