KL Rahul hit his third half-yearly century of IPL 2025, made an unbeaten 42-gent 57 against his previous Side Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in Lucknow on Tuesday, former India Batterchase Cheteshwar Pujara feels that the new leases of life have given him that his new franchise has separated him like Dalli Capital (DC).
Rahul continued his rich vein by anchoring DC’s comfortable run chase on Tuesday, making him one of his franchise’s highest run scorer and one of the top Indian batsmen of the IPL season.
Pujara credited the top performance to leave LSG last year after a decline with the team management.
“Just go ahead, do not take any goods from the past,” Pujara told Espncricinfo. “And this is a good thing. Look, KL is a mature player. Last a few years, he is batting well in forms. He does not want to think about the past and wants to enjoy his batting and be in his area, instead of what went wrong when he was playing for the LSG team.”
“It is good to move forward, which will help him play well for DC and even the Indian team. Recently, it is someone who also depends on the way India’s team depends, the way he is batting. Even as a person, he looks very mature now, he understands his game very well. We have seen a different KL Rahul in this season, we said.
Former England batsman Nick Knight said that his shoulders have been relieved after captaincy pressure, Rahul is capable of focusing on his batting.
“Capines can do funny things for you -sometimes you thrive on it, sometimes it is a burden,” Night was said by Espncricinfo. “Whether it was an impact, now not being a captain, just getting free and is able to play the position of the match.”
