“I wanted an event in Panchkula, but there are some issues related to light in the stadium. The need for world athletics is 600 lux (a measure of light intensity), which is not there (in Panchkula) and it would take time (to install it),” he said.
“Therefore, we have decided to move the program to the Kantirwa Stadium in Bangalore,” said a 27 -year -old supported by Bangalore -based JSW Sports.
NC Classic will be jointly organized in collaboration by athlete and JSW Sports Athletics federation of india (AFI) and World Athletics.
Apart from international athletes, the program will also feature Indian athletes like Rohit Yadav. Chopra revealed that there would be a place for three-four Indians including themselves in the competition.
