BCCI Central Contracts 2024-25: Who has been promoted and who has been demoted?

The Control Board for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced annual player contracts for Team India (Senior Men) for the 2024-25 season (1 October, 2024 to 30 September, 2025). In notable changes, Shreyas Iyer and Ishaan Kishan have been assigned grade B and grade C contracts respectively after leaving without one last year. His absence from the central contracts created a lot of vibrations as he had chosen against playing the Ranji Trophy, a step that did not sit well with the Indian Cricket Board.
There has been no change in the A+ category, which continues by Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah and Ravindra Jadeja. R Ashwin has not been assigned a contract since his retirement from Test cricket during his tour of Australia.

India Test wicketkeeper-son Rishabh Pant has been hit from Grade B to four-level system, which features 34 players in the categories of Grade A+, Grade A, Grade B and Grade C.
The contracts have also been handed over to Sarfaraz Khan, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Abhishek Sharma, Akash Deep, Varun Chakarwarthi and Harshit Rana.
Meanwhile, not appearing in the latest list: Shardul Thakur, Jitesh Sharma, KS Bharat, Avesh Khan.
