After a small break of a few days in the Maldives, Kevin Peterson is back to Delhi’s capitals as he resumes his role of a team’s patron for the Indian Premier League table toppers. Peterson left with his family for a few days. And Delhi star KL Rahul was not in any mood to forget him.
Ahead of Delhi’s struggle with Titans of Gujarat at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Delhi’s social media team posted a clip while showing a light banquet between Rahul and Peterson.
Peterson met Gujarat Titans captain Shubman Gill during a training session on Friday, where he was investigating Shubman. During that conversation, former England players can be heard commenting on his role as the patron of Delhi Capital.
“Is there a patron? Nobody knows,” he shrunk while talking to Shubman.
At this point, the camera pants KL Rahul, who pinched a pinch: “A patron is the one who goes to the Maldives for the mid -season season.”

The pair then attended the birthday ceremony, where the DC patron finished Rahul’s face a lot of cakes.
Rahul and Peterson have also indulged in a contingent banquet before. Recently, after Rahul’s heroes against Chennai Super Kings, where he scored 77 off 51 balls to win Delhi for 25 runs, Pieterson and Rahul spoke to the social media team on camera. When Rahul reminded the DC patron of a tweet, he posted many years ago to see The India Batter at the crease.
Rahul told the team’s patron, “This is better than drying the wall paint. Of course. It was your tweet about me one day.”
