The family of a missing New York Banker, who had disappeared while on leave in Spain a month ago, confirmed the remains that were washed ashes.
Grant Barr’s father Michael Barr, Michael Barr wrote in a post on his Facebook page, “It is deeply sad that I talk about the passage of my youngest son Grant.”
Grant Barr was living with friends and relatives at Estepona at Costa del Sol, when he disappeared on 28 January, according to Spanish Eye.
The outlet reported that his pants and passports were also found near a beach at a resort, shortly thereafter, he was reported missing, which led to a major discovery.

The outlet reported that Barr’s body was washed on a beach on 3 March, but his family was not informed until 4 April, when the remains were identified, after which he spent weeks in search of weeks.
Michael Barr said the remains on the beach were confirmed through his son’s DNA.
“As a father, my world will never be the same; he could be true for all those who knew him and loved him. I ask God for the strength to take him with courage and love in my heart. And I thank all of them for prayers and compassionate thoughts who knew and loved him,” Michael Barr continued. “

According to his father, Barr traveled to Spain for a sailing migration after undergoing a difficult breakup, saying that his son was in a “emotional state” and perhaps struggling with reality.
“He was in love with sailing. He was a certified Skidirever, and was working on his pilot’s license. He had a huge thirst for life,” hatred’s father described his son on Facebook sharing an image of his son.
Officials initially ruled the cause of his death as drowning, although accurate circumstances are unclear.
Grant’s brother, James Barr, told Spanish Eye that his brother’s remains were issued on Friday “a week after a week between the courts and the coroner’s office.”

“While the thoughts of one of the worst situation came into consideration from time to time, none of us really thought that it would eventually be the result,” James Bair said.
James Barr also shared his disappointment over the delay in the notification, saying, “This means that the last time we were all looking for two weeks there, he was already found, although he did not even suggest that he had something that he was watching.”
Spain’s Guardia Civil and Polisia National have not commented on the case.
Burr, according to his LinkedIn page, worked at the Bank of New York Mellon Corporation and first worked for Citibank.

The US State Department also confirmed the passage of Berr’s Fox News Digital and said that they “give our honest condolences to the family at their loss.”
