New Delhi: MS Dhoni deepened his name even more IPL History On Monday, when he became the first player to record 200 dismissal in the tournament. Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain achieved remarkable achievement during his clash against Lucknow Super Veteran (LSG) at Ekna Stadium.
Dhoni reached a milestone in the 14th over, when he distanced Ayush Badoni from the bowling of Ravindra Jadeja. The veteran wicketkeeper was shouting electricity behind the stump, collecting a sharp delivery cleanly and killing Bell in a flash. The TV umpire confirmed that Dhoni’s gloves were completely behind the stump, validing the stumping – his 46th in the IPL.

The 43 -year -old, played his 271st IPL match, now took 201 dismissal, including 155 catches and 46 stumping. He later added to his tally with a smart catch to dismiss LSG captain Rishabh Pant, who scored the top for the host with 63 runs in 49 balls.
Despite the efforts of the pants, the Lucknow super giants could post only 166/7 in their 20 overs.
With this milestone, Dhoni carried forward his legacy as the biggest wicketkeeper of IPL, showing elite reflexes and awareness even after 18 seasons.
