Iran’s Foreign Minister has to visit Russia to discuss nuclear dialogues with the United States this week, beyond a new round of interaction between enemies employed for Rome.

On Saturday, Abbas Aragchi interacted with the highest level conversation with the highest level of talks with US Middle East Envoy Steve Witcoff in Oman since the decline of the 2015 nuclear deal.

US President Donald Trump, who was withdrawn from the account, has made Iran back to headlines since returning to the White House in January. In March, he sent a letter to Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, if Tehran refused, he called for a nuclear dialogue warning of possible military action.

Western countries, including the United States, have long been suspected of Iran to chase nuclear weapons, an allegation Tehran has constantly denied, ensuring that its program was only for peaceful purposes.

Russia, a close associate of Iran and the party for the 2015 deal, and China has discussed with Tehran in its nuclear program in recent weeks.

Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Bakai said, “Dr. Araghchi will visit Moscow at the end of the week,” saying that the journey was pre-planned and “would have an opportunity to discuss the latest development related to Muscat talks”.

Russia’s Foreign Ministry spokesman, Maria Zakharova, later confirmed the journey, saying that Argchi would meet his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavarov and other officials.

Iran and the United States described separate Saturday discussions as “creative” with the US.

Moscow welcomed the Iran-US talks as it pushed to a diplomatic solution and warned that military conflict would be a “global destruction”.

Another round of dialogue between Iran and the United States is scheduled for Saturday (April 19). Iran has not yet confirmed the location, but Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani later stated that Rome gave a “positive response” to request to host the talks, saying: “Whatever we are ready to do.”

    ‘Red Rekha’

The official IRNA news agency reported that they would be held in Europe without expansion.

Bakai said that the next set of dialogues would continue indirectly with Omani mediation, saying that direct talks were “not effective” and “not useful”.

He had earlier stated that the only focus of the upcoming dialogue would be “raising nuclear issues and restrictions”, and that Iran “will” no interaction with the American side on any other issue “.

Late on Sunday, IRNA reported that Tehran’s regional influence and its missile capabilities were one of its “red lines” in talks.

Washington restored the restrictions of cutting on Tehran after its return from the 2015 deal after three years. After Trump’s return, Iran continued to follow the agreement for a year, but later began to return its compliance.

Iran has constantly denied that it is looking for nuclear weapons.

Bakaii reiterated that Iran would host the United Nations Nuclear Watchdog chief Rafael Grosi in the coming days, but noted that his visit details could still be “decided”.

In a post on X, GRASI confirmed that he would move towards Tehran “later this week”.

He said, “Continuous engagement and cooperation with the agency is necessary at a time when diplomatic solutions are immediately needed,” he said.

IRNA later reported that Grosy would arrive on Wednesday and meet Iran’s nuclear power agency chief Araghchi and Mohammad Eslami.

The head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) finally visited Iran in November when he interacted with top officials, including President Masaud Peseshkian.

In its latest quarterly report in February, IAEA stated that an estimated 274.8 kg uranium in Iran was up to 60 per cent, which is more than the 3.67PC limit set under the 2015 deal and is very close to the 90PC threshold required for arms-grade materials.
