Quetta Gladiators spinner Usman Tariq has recently been informed for a suspected bowling action against Lahore Kalandars during the Pakistan Super League (PSL) match.
Oppures Ahsan Raza and Chris Brown expressed concern about Tariq’s bowling technique during stability, which presents an official report to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
Despite this development, PCB has clarified that Tariq is eligible to continue bowling in the upcoming matches. However, the board issued a warning that if their action is re -stated, they would be suspended from bowling until they get approval from the International Cricket Council (ICC) Biomacionics Laboratory.
This process follows the standard protocol for players reported for possible illegal bowling action in professional cricket competitions. The PCB’s approach allows players to overcome technical concerns, provided another report is filed.
Cricket rules require bowlers to follow specific biomechanical standards to maintain legal bowling action. The ICC testing process evaluates whether a bowler’s hand is higher than the 15-degree tolerance allowed during direct delivery.
Quetta Gladiators Management has not yet issued a statement about the action taken by his spinner or the plan for any therapeutic work.
