If you are recently concerned about a adjacent – and meteorite – then an increase in the price of electronics such as iPhones, laptops and PC components, you can breathe a breath of relief. The US government has given exemption for a wide range of electronics items from heavy tariffs imposed on China in the last few weeks.

Why was this a serious situation?

The US government recently slapped heavy tariffs on many countries of Asia and Europe, including China. While other countries received 90-day relief, any such reprives were not expanded to China, which is an important manufacturing center for companies such as Apple and NVIDIA.

Analysts predicted that the price of items such as smartphones, PC gear and gaming console was going to increase rapidly. Nintendo stopped the pre-spring of its next-gene switch 2 console, while the PC brands such as Razor and Framework also had to adjust their sales strategy to make tariff-related adjustments in a bid.

According to an nervous purchase for products such as iPhone in the US, and according to Reuters, Apple fly a 600 -tonne price cargo from India to stock its inventory in the United States. The outlet also reported that Amazon suppliers in China were making a significant price increase for their products due to tariff.

    A big relief for consumers

Apple, HP, Microsoft, Dell, and Intel are some companies that not only trust China for the manufacture of their products, but are also responsible for it as a major market. With 125% tariffs imposed on China, it was not difficult to estimate an increase on its consumer products entering the US market.

Thankfully, the hit has been postponed for now. US customs and border security have issued an updated guidance for mutual tariff exclusion policy. The agency has listed 20 product categories that broadly cover a wide range of devices such as memory chips, laptops, disc drives, semiconductors and flat panel screens.

In particular, the discount also covers machines that are used to make semiconductors, which are in the heart of everything from phones and laptops to cars. According to Bloomberg, Apple imports from China, including iphones, iPads, smartwatches and Airtags, are now technically protected from tariff-inspired price increase.

In addition to phone and computing items, the price of discontinued processor kits and graphics cards from the choice of NVIDIA is now effectively preserved by an impending price increase for American customers. The move will also benefit the products sold by Samsung, HP and Microsoft in the US among others.
