Officials and media said that after heavy rains in India and some parts of Nepal, around 100 people have died since Wednesday, and the Meteorological Department has predicted more unseasonal rains for the region.
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) on Wednesday launched a multi-trick warning for the country, with heatwave conditions in western parts and thunder in eastern and central region.
In eastern state of Bihar, at least 64 people died in rain -related incidents from Wednesday, a senior official of the state disaster management department told the Reuters.
Local media said that more than 20 people have died in India’s most populous state.
National Disaster Authority officials said that in the meantime, at least eight people were killed in neighboring Nepal, electric attacks and heavy rains.
The Meteorological Office of India is expected to have heavy rains with thunderstorms, electricity and strong winds till Saturday by Saturday.
The monsoon season usually begins in southern India in June, and in recent times the summer months have been marked by intense heatwave, who have killed many people.
The state -run IMD said last week that India is expected to have a lot of April experience, with most of the country’s normal temperature.
