Rajasthan Royals captain Sanju Samson became the most successful leader of the club in terms of winning Punjab Kings in the IPL 2025 competition in Mulanpur on Saturday evening.
This season, starting a full -time leadership from his finger injury for the first time, Samson and his people posted the most total at the site before the collective bowling attempt. Under the leadership of Seamers Joffra Archer and Sandeep Sharma, Rajasthan passed through the top order of Punjab before impressing the 50 -run win.
The Pace Spearhead Archer returned to be made quickly as he cleaned opener Priyash Arya and captain Shreyas Iyer with delivery in the first over. “This is a very deadly combo, a man bowls at 150 and a man at 115,” Samson said.
When told that Sandeep had traveled 130 km per hour on broadcast, Samson asked with a trademark flavor: Oh what he did? We should cut a cake on it (smile). ,
“I can trust them a little more with pressure overs. We all love it when he (Archer) bowls fast.” Archer made his comeback at the Royals franchise with a signature of Rs 12.50 crore. The 30 -year -old began his IPL journey with Royals in 2018 and continued to play until 2021 in 2023 before making a season appearance in a season.
With a gradual win, the Royals have managed to bounce back four points in several games and stand in seventh position on the table. He will face Gujarat Titans in Ahmedabad next Tuesday.
