Mahendra Singh Dhoni could not take Chennai Super Kings to win over Rajasthan Royals as CSK lost by six runs in an Indian Premier League game in Guwahati on Sunday evening. Dhoni needed 54 runs to win 25 balls with CSK in the 16th over. Dhoni hit a six and four before losing his wicket with 16 runs off 11 balls at night.
New Zealand cricket legend Kane Wilimson praised Dhoni’s aura, especially when he went to Batting for CSK in Guwahati. While Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati was the home stadium of Rajasthan Royals, a lot of fans were seen wearing a yellow jersey in Chennai.
Considering the atmosphere of electrification, when MS Dhoni went out to bat, Kane Williamson said on Geostar after the game: “The fact is that Chennai Super Kings were playing a distant match, yet the whole crowd was dressed in yellow color, it was just seen many times. I feel like it is equipped for stars, which is needed in the last two overs.
