According to the Drink Panchang, Dwitiya Tithi begins on 30 March at 09:19 am and ends on 31 March at 05:41 am.

Goddess Brahmacharini Importance
Goddess Brahmacharini is depicted as a peaceful and composed figure. She is seen wearing white clothes and moving barefoot. In one hand, she keeps a Rudraksha garland and a rectangular water vessel or kamandal in the other. He has a calm face that symbolizes purity. This illustration shows his life austerity, simplicity and deep relations of Lord Shiva.
According to legends, Goddess Brahmacharini was born in South Prajapati’s house. She did serious penance to get Lord Shiva as her husband. She only went with bilva leaves, flowers, fruits and leafy vegetables and slept on the floor.
Later he stopped eating and continued his penance without food and water. Seeing his intense resolution, Lord Brahma gave him a blessing, and he became the union of Lord Shiva.
